TAX & ACCOUNTING MANAGER

We are currently seeking a hands-on, motivated team player with 5+ years of recent public accounting tax experience to manage a wide range of tax and accounting engagements for small to medium sized local businesses and faith-based non-profit organizations.  Working directly with the firm’s Principals and clients, while providing hands-on consulting, you will review and prepare individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns; provide tax research, planning and strategy; oversee, mentor and supervise team members and develop and cultivate professional client relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • CPA license
  • 5+ years of recent public accounting tax experience progressing in scope and responsibility
  • Strong experience in tax return preparation, financial reporting, and management consulting for a wide range of non-profit and business clients
  • Ability to work independently, juggle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, lead and mentor emerging professionals and manage client relationships
  • Strong communication, organizational, analytical, leadership, supervisory, client service, problem solving and computer skills including Microsoft Excel and accounting software proficiency (QuickBooks, Creative Solutions UltraTax and Thomson Reuters proficiency are a plus)
  • A passion for client service, dedication to immerse yourself into an exciting growth opportunity and the desire to advance beyond your current responsibilities

 

 

STAFF ACCOUNTANT

Full-time position, however, candidates seeking less than full time are encouraged to apply.

We are currently seeking a hands-on, motivated team player with 2-5 years of recent accounting experience to lead a wide range of tax and accounting engagements for small to medium sized local businesses and faith-based non-profit organizations.  Working directly with the firm's Partners and clients, you will prepare individual, partnership and corporate tax returns; assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements; research current tax regulations; ensure tax compliance and be involved with various compilations, review and audit engagements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • CPA license or CPA eligible preferred, but not required
  • 2-5 years of recent public accounting or private industry accounting experience progressing in scope and responsibility
  • Ability to work independently, juggle multiple priorities, meet deadlines and manage client relationships
  • Strong communication, organizational, analytical, client service, problem solving and computer skills including Microsoft Excel and accounting software proficiency (QuickBooks, Peachtree, Creative Solutions UltraTax and Thomson Reuters proficiency are a plus)

SEASONAL TAX PREPARERS

We are seeking dependable and dedicated seasonal employees to assist in the preparation of individual tax returns for the 2022 tax season, from February 1, 2023 through April 15, 2023. Successful candidates will be given the opportunity to return annually for this period of time and may also be given the opportunity to provide additional hours of service throughout the remainder of the year. No experience necessary. We will train qualified applicants.  Flexible hours and scheduling are available.
